Design competition

Jeanne's accessory designs which feature paintings printed on scarves, leggings, tops and pillows have won a competition and will be sold through Lord & Taylor, NYC.

The collection will be launched in Manhattan this fall. The competition was organized by VIDA a US contractor that works with artists worldwide to print and sell unique fashion art and decor  items.

Want to join the artist on an art tour through the rivers and canals of her home country? This 12-day art tour starts in Amsterdam. Destinations will include Haarlem, the 'green heart of Holland', Leiden, Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague, as well as Dutch National Park “The Hoge Veluwe” and World Heritage Site Kinderdijk.

Award of Excellence
BC Art Teachers' Association

Jeanne Krabbendam was name the 2016 recipient of the "Post-Secondary Award for Excellence" in the teach of Visual Arts.

Jeanne was noted for her teaching experience at a variety of post-secondary art institutions and outstanding work in the community, including the Coast Mental Health facility in Vancouver.

Jeanne was honoured for her achievements at the Awards Ceremony in the David Lam Theatre on Saturday, October 22nd at 12:30 p.m. in conjunction with the BCATA/CSEA 2016 “Intersections” Conference.
