Dutch River Tour

Dutch River Art Adventure

Jeanne is planning another Dutch River Art Tour for 2018.

Dutch River Art Adventure dates:

  • June 29 to July 11, 2018
    Please Note: This tour is almost Full.
  • A second tour is planned for July 27 to August 8, 2018.

Want to join the artist on an art tour through the rivers and canals of her home country? This 12-day art tour starts in Amsterdam. Destinations will include Haarlem, the 'green heart of Holland', Leiden, Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague, as well as Dutch National Park “The Hoge Veluwe” and World Heritage Site Kinderdijk.

Special exhibition as part of Canada 150 

Jeanne has been selected as one of seven Canadian artists to  be part of the exhibit 'Bridges and Friendship'.

This show, part of the events Canada 150, celebrates the friendship between the countries Mexico, Canada and China.

For this exhibition the consuls of the different countries asked curators to select seven Canadian, seven Mexican and seven Chinese artists to show their works.

Jeanne will have two large paintings and an installation in this exhibition during the month of September.

Bridges and Friendship

 

Award of Excellence
BC Art Teachers' Association

Jeanne Krabbendam was name the 2016 recipient of the "Post-Secondary Award for Excellence" in the teach of Visual Arts.

Jeanne was noted for her teaching experience at a variety of post-secondary art institutions and outstanding work in the community, including the Coast Mental Health facility in Vancouver.

Jeanne was honoured for her achievements at the Awards Ceremony in the David Lam Theatre on Saturday, October 22nd at 12:30 p.m. in conjunction with the BCATA/CSEA 2016 “Intersections” Conference.
